MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A four-year degree from an accredited college or university with a major study in one or more recreation, sports management, business administration, or a related field.
Alternatively, three (3) years of general experience demonstrating successful knowledge and application of the goals, principles, methods, and techniques of recreation, alongside an understanding of the interests and motivations of individuals and groups.
A minimum of five (5) years of specialized experience in roles such as an NF-4 with a Non-Appropriated Funds Instrumentality (NAFI) or a middle manager role in a similar civilian operation. Production Control Clerk / Service Writer
The Production Control Clerk is responsible for creating, updating, and data input of custom reports/information databases used for the purpose of monitoring/inducting of military and civilian equipment. Works directly the Production Control Supervisor and the Maintenance Manager. Principal Accountabilities
Input, update and export information in/with GCSS Army or government approved LIS. Performs accurate data entry and reporting of vehicles assigned to the program are performed 100% of the time. Generate custom equipment tracking databases/spreadsheets. Provide logistical/administrative support to management. Create, update, and deliver reports to management. Supports / participates in the Company Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and QA Program Ensure all records of maintenance are maintained in historical jackets and within the computerized maintenance management system GCSS-ARMY and other approved systems, to include requests for disposition, classification, controlled exchange, and cannibalization documentation. Fire Alarm Dispatcher
Job Responsibilities The Fire Alarm Dispatcher plays a critical role in emergency response operations by monitoring alarms, receiving emergency calls, and dispatching appropriate personnel to incidents. This role requires excellent communication, multitasking skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monitoring fire alarm systems and responding promptly to incoming alarm signals in accordance with established emergency protocols. Receiving emergency calls and prioritizing, categorizing, and dispatching fire department personnel to incidents. Operating communications equipment such as radios, telephones, and computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems to coordinate emergency response activities. Maintaining clear and direct communication with responding personnel, providing real-time updates on emergency situations. Accurately documenting all received calls, dispatched units, and responses in logs for record-keeping and reporting purposes. Monitoring and verifying functionality of alarm systems, ensuring timely identification of system faults and reporting them for immediate resolution. Assisting in tracking system alarms and scheduled maintenance activities to reduce downtime or prevent system issues. Collaborating with the Fire and Emergency Services team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during all emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Certifications in Telecommunicator I and II and Hazmat Awareness, in accordance with relevant standards. (New hires must obtain all required certifications within 12 months of employment to perform duties independently.) 1-3 years of experience in emergency dispatch operations, fire service communications, or a related role. Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to emergencies effectively while ensuring prompt and accurate dispatch of personnel. Proficiency in operating communications equipment, including radios and computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems. Strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain accurate records of dispatching activities and alarms. Exceptional verbal communication skills to relay clear and concise information to personnel and emergency responders. Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance for the duration of deployment. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce. Valid country driver’s license. Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide). Previous experience working in fire service dispatch operations for a government, military, or emergency response organization. Familiarity with U.S. Navy or Department of Defense fire alarm and emergency dispatch protocols. Advanced training or certification in emergency dispatch, communication systems, or situational response.
Dental Hygienist
The Dental Hygienist will play a key role in providing preventive and educational dental care while maintaining accurate dental records in accordance with government requirements. Job Responsibilities:
Conduct dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing, to prevent and treat oral health issues. Perform oral health assessments and screenings, including checking for oral diseases such as cavities, gingivitis, and periodontitis. Take and develop dental x-rays in accordance with safety and quality standards. Provide education and counseling to patients on oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and proper dental care techniques. Collaborate with dentists to deliver comprehensive dental care and provide follow-up recommendations resulting from evaluations or treatments. Assist in the collection of patient medical and dental histories as part of pre-employment and ongoing wellness procedures. Create and maintain individual Medical/Dental records upon employees’ arrival to Diego Garcia, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
Records must include pre-employment physicals, medical histories, occupational injuries or diseases, physical examinations, pre-employment dental exams, x-rays, and treatments. Clearly mark jackets with critical patient information such as allergies, blood type, and occupational surveillance program status, including dates placed on and removed from the programs.
Update and maintain Medical/Dental records throughout the duration of employee employment on Diego Garcia. These records are official government property and must be available for government inspection/review at any time. Ensure documentation for all dental services, including treatments, procedural outcomes, examination results, and x-rays, is current and accurate. Support the dental team in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment in compliance with OSHA and infection control guidelines. Manage and maintain dental equipment and instruments in optimal working condition by performing routine cleaning, sterilization, and organization. Facilitate an organized dental clinic workflow while providing exceptional patient care and meeting government regulatory standards.
Minimum Requirements:

Emergency Vehicle Technician
Job Summary
The Emergency Vehicle Mechanic performs repairs and maintains a variety of heavy equipment including, but not limited to, heavy trucks, trailers, cranes, forklifts, container handlers, back-hoes, trenchers, loaders, graders, scrapers, compactors, dozers, skid steers, and associated equipment.
Principal Accountabilities
Responsible for all maintenance, repair, and servicing of assigned fire vehicles and equipment to include structural Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) and ambulance apparatus Perform heavy equipment maintenance activities including installation, repair, trouble-shooting, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance Remove and replace engines and mechanical units to inspect and diagnose parts using computerized test equipment, calibration devices, gauges, etc. Repair and overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment Repair air conditioning systems Calibrate load monitoring indicators to ensure safe and reliable lifts Rebuild hydraulic cylinders, valves, planetary drive units, suspensions, springs, bushings, and kingpins Replace seals and bearings, axel brakes, and crane rigging Provide input and data for processing work orders, invoices, equipment repair records, and activity reports Adhere to all established safety policies and standards to include identification, use, and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous waste Perform recovery operations as needed

The Dental Assistant will provide dental support services, ensure accurate record-keeping, and assist with patient care in compliance with government regulations and dental care standards. Job Responsibilities:

Ensure all dental records are complete, up-to-date, and maintained for the entire term of an employee’s service on Diego Garcia. Clearly mark Medical/Dental records with key patient information on the outside of each jacket, including allergies, blood type, and involvement in occupational surveillance programs, including dates of enrollment or removal. Enter, organize, and maintain patient dental care documentation, ensuring compliance with all U.S. government regulations and policies related to medical/dental records. Support dental practitioners during patient visits by preparing tools, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining treatment rooms for hygiene and efficiency. Assist the dentist in performing procedures, ensuring comfort and safety for patients while providing chairside assistance and instrument preparation. Capture and develop x-ray images of patients’ teeth in accordance with proper safety and quality protocols. Provide basic patient communication, including answering questions about dental procedures, oral hygiene guidance, and post-treatment care instructions. Maintain an inventory of dental supplies and request replacements as needed, ensuring all required items remain stocked for operations. Help maintain an overall clean and organized dental clinic environment, complying with all health, safety, and infection control standards.
