Position: Gikuyu Language Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $30 - $80/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

Translate written materials from English to Gikuyu and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance. Review and edit Gikuyu language content for grammar, style, tone, and clarity. Assess, annotate, and evaluate text data to provide input for AI model development. Collaborate with the customer's team to deliver high-quality linguistic insights and recommendations. Maintain the consistency and integrity of Gikuyu language usage across various projects. Contribute to innovative language tasks that may include localization, data annotation, and linguistic analysis.

Requirements

Have native proficiency in Gikuyu, with advanced written and verbal communication skills. Possess a strong command of English, including professional writing and editing capabilities. Have demonstrated experience with written content creation, review, and editing. Have expertise in translation between English and Gikuyu. Exhibit excellent attention to detail and a passion for linguistic accuracy.
