It involves contributing to high-quality tax solutions, assisting in client engagements, and supporting ongoing improvement of tax processes, client relationships, and business development initiatives. Main Responsibilities Serve as a key client contact, managing relationships and delivering proactive, value-added tax advice. Lead and execute tax engagements including advisory, due diligence, and tax health checks, ensuring high-quality deliverables within set timelines. Prepare and review tax computations, tax returns Perform periodic tax reviews for clients. Support client regulator audits, including client representation and resolution of tax matters. Draft / review tax advisory opinions and provide technical guidance on tax legislation and compliance issues. Mentor and develop tax associates, strengthening technical capability in tax analysis, documentation, and compliance. Contribute to business development through proposal writing, client presentations, and market insights. Support internal development by improving tax processes, methodologies, publications, and tools including tax alerts and thought leadership content. Minimum Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economics, Finance or any other related field. Professional qualification – Certified Public Accountant of Kenya. Diploma or Certificate in Tax, Customs and revenue administration from KESRA will be an advantage. Have a minimum of three (3) years in Tax consulting or administration with at least 1 year in a Senior position. Have good understanding of the Tax laws and accounting. Personal Attributes Strong technical grounding in taxation with practical experience in compliance and advisory work Exposure to client-facing engagements, including support on audits and tax assignments Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work within deadlines.  Good communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced professional services environment. The candidate must exemplify good professional behaviour devoid of any substance influence.
