About Cebron Global
Cebron Global is a specialist advisory firm structuring and arranging trade finance facilities for mid-market commodity traders and processors across Sub-Saharan Africa. We bridge the $2.5 trillion global trade finance gap by connecting proven, verifiable commodity flows with our network of alternative credit funds, family offices, and institutional trade finance providers.
We are not a lender. We are a trusted arranger and capital introduction platform. Our model is simple: we originate, structure, and present bankable commodity trade facilities (LC-backed, pre-export, or revolving import finance) to capital partners actively seeking African exposure. We earn engagement and success fees for closed transactions. Our business is built on deep relationships, rigorous compliance, and repeatable deal flow.
We are now building a 10-person pan-African origination team, and we are looking for battle-tested trade finance professionals who already have the network and the technical knowledge to source US$25M to $100M+ commodity trade transactions.
The Opportunity
This is a commission-only origination role for seasoned professionals who can source, structure, and shepherd structured commodity trade finance deals from mandate to close. You will be backed by Cebron Global’s capital relationships, compliance infrastructure, and deal management support.
Your Role:
Identify and build trusted relationships with mid-tier commodity exporters, importers, and processors in your market who require trade finance facilities above the capacity of local banks. Originate mandates for facilities typically sized $25M to $100M+, backed by confirmed LCs, pre-export contracts, or verified warehouse collateral. Pre-screen the counterparty, underlying trade flow, and off-taker, working alongside our third-party verification partners (inspection, collateral management, legal). Present structured, funder-ready opportunities to Cebron’s Introduction desk, who will manage the funder engagement and placement process. Maintain a disciplined pipeline and work collaboratively with a pan-African team that covers multiple countries and commodity verticals.
Who You Are: An ex-trade finance banker, structured finance professional, or seasoned commodity trade advisor with a live Rolodex in one or more African markets. You understand LC mechanics, UCP 600, pre-export structures, and the risk/credit considerations of alternative funders. You are known and trusted within your local commodity ecosystem—whether that’s Nigerian crude and cocoa, Ivorian cashew and cotton, Kenyan tea and coffee, Zambian copper, or another bankable flow. You can spot the difference between a genuine, verifiable trade and a transaction that will never fund. You operate with high integrity and a compliance-first mindset. You want to convert your network and expertise into substantial transaction fees, without the constraints of a traditional banking role.
What We Provide
Capital Access: A global network of alternative credit funds and trade finance desks actively deploying into Africa and seeking new, vetted origination partners. Deal Management Support: A central Capital Introduction team that packages your deals, manages the funder dialogue, and ensures your origination work translates into closings. Compliance Backbone: Access to our legal and compliance resources to ensure every deal meets international KYC/AML and sanctions standards. Collaborative Platform: Join a focused, non-competing team where territories are respected, pipelines are transparent, and cross-border introductions are encouraged. Significant Earning Potential: Compensation is purely success-based and uncapped. Deal fees are shared directly from closed engagement and success fees. For a $50M facility closed, your personal commission reflects a meaningful percentage of a six-to-seven-figure firm fee. High activity and consistent closings create substantial annual income.
This Is Not a Salaried Job Let us be direct: there is no base salary, no draw, and no guaranteed income. This role is for entrepreneurial professionals who already know where the deals are and want a platform that can actually fund them. If you need a monthly paycheck, this is not the right opportunity.
But if you have the network and the expertise, and you are tired of watching good deals die because your former institution had no risk appetite for Africa, Cebron Global gives you the capital backstop and the professional platform to close.
