Location: Kenya Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary We are looking for an experienced and dynamic International Trade Finance Officer to manage cross-border trade finance transactions where suppliers and buyers are located in different countries. The candidate will support international import/export transactions, coordinate with overseas suppliers, buyers, banks, and financial institutions, and ensure smooth execution of global trade finance operations. Key Responsibilities Handle international trade finance transactions between overseas suppliers and buyers. Manage and coordinate: Supplier Finance Import & Export Finance International Payment Solutions Letters of Credit (LC) Bank Guarantees (BG) Coordinate with exporters & importers Review international trade documents including Invoice, Bill of Lading, Packing List, Certificate of Origin etc. Follow up with overseas suppliers and buyers to ensure timely shipment and payment processing. Support clients in structuring international trade transactions and financing solutions. Build relationships with global trading companies, manufacturers, exporters, and importers. Monitor transaction status and resolve operational issues related to international trade deals. Assist in developing new international trade finance business opportunities. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in international trade finance or banking. Strong understanding of cross-border trade transactions and international payment methods. Experience dealing with overseas suppliers, buyers, and banks. Good communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple international transactions.
