Class Actions & Mass Torts Associate

A leading Am Law 100 firm is seeking a 4th–7th year Associate to join its nationally recognised Litigation & Disputes Practice, focusing on Class Actions and Mass Torts. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside leading trial lawyers defending global companies in high-exposure, bet-the-company litigation.
The role offers meaningful responsibility across all stages of litigation, including trial preparation, client strategy and direct involvement in some of the most significant class action and mass tort matters in the country.
Key Responsibilities
Defend complex class action and mass tort matters in state and federal courts Handle pleadings, motion practice and strategic case development Conduct fact and expert discovery Take and defend depositions Support class certification strategy and briefing Participate in trial preparation and trial teams Assist with appellate briefing and litigation strategy Work directly with clients on case management and dispute resolution strategy
Who You Are
4th–7th year associate Experience in complex litigation within a large law firm environment Experience taking and defending fact and expert witness depositions Experience supporting trial teams in state or federal jury trials Federal Circuit Court clerkship and/or AUSA experience preferred Excellent analytical, writing and oral advocacy skills Strong organisational and project management abilities Collaborative, proactive and client-focused Admitted to the relevant State Bar or eligible for prompt admission
Compensation
Salary Range: $225,000 – $340,000 (DOE)
