Rift Valley Institute of Business Studies (RVIBS) College is a career development hub with its Main Campus in Nakuru next to Nakuru Railways Police Station. The college started in order to unleash the power of the youth and create success stories. We started as a Hairdressing School in Kericho town before relocating to Nakuru in 2008 and expanded to a fully-fledged college. We now have campuses in Nakuru, Njoro and Gilgil. For 17 years, we have trained the best in Engineering, Journalism & Mass Media, Cosmetology, Fashion Design, Business and ICT. We have also set up The School of Health & Applied Sciences which is now the choice of students who want to pursue medical courses. Through Research & Development, our training is tailored towards the needs of developing countries making our graduates a hot cake in the fields of Manufacturing, Health, Housing and Beauty Industry.Key Responsibilities Deliver effective day-to-day management and coordination of the farm and learning hub operations. Drive productivity, organization, and continuous improvement across the farm systems and learning spaces. Develop and implement work plans, budgets, and operational schedules to support efficient performance. Coordinate experiential learning activities, farm visits, trainings, demonstrations, and stakeholder engagement programs. Support marketing and outreach by keeping the farm ready for attractive practical learning experiences and providing timely updates, content, and success stories. Contribute to income-generation initiatives through practical agribusiness thinking, cost control, productivity improvement, and support for school/community visit packages. Qualifications and Competencies Diploma in General Agriculture, Agricultural Extension, Agribusiness, or a related field. Minimum of three (3) years practical experience in farm management. Experience in demonstration farms, school farms, community training, agribusiness, or experiential learning environments will be an added advantage. Strong communication, interpersonal, and basic computer application skills. Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Basic record-keeping, budgeting, and reporting skills. Team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset. Passion for practical agriculture, learner engagement, sustainability, and community impact.
