NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called: Higher Education System Strengthening Project II – Somalia and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this assignment is to strengthen the capacity of the higher education system for enhanced coordination, regulation and sustainability of interventions in Somalia.

Location: Mogadishu, Somalia. Duration: The intended start date is 1st October 2026 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 36 months from this date.

Non-Key Expert: Communications & Visibility Officer (junior)

☝️ Minimum Qualifications and skills: Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related field. Skills in digital media, graphic design and content creation; proficiency with social‑media management tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Somali language an asset.

☝️Specific professional experience: 3–5 years’ experience managing communications for development projects or organisations. Demonstrated ability to implement donor communication and visibility guidelines (e.g. EU communication standards). Experience producing newsletters, press releases, social‑media content and case studies and coordinating public events. Ability to liaise with media and stakeholders to disseminate project results.
