About the job The Junior Partnerships & Membership Manager supports the organization’s commercial and membership growth agenda across global markets. The role is responsible for developing partnerships that generate commercial revenue while simultaneously supporting the expansion of membership across priority regions. This position plays a key role in strengthening financial sustainability through sponsorships and partnerships, while also contributing to the growth of a global membership network spanning emerging and established markets. The role requires strong relationship-building capability, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple international workstreams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Details Commercial Partnerships – Conference Sponsorships Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective sponsors across HR technology, staffing platforms, legal and compliance firms, workforce analytics providers, and related sectors Support development of structured sponsorship packages across multiple tiers (headline, gold, silver, exhibitor, and content partnerships) Manage the end-to-end sponsorship cycle including outreach, proposal development, negotiation, contracting, and activation (with increasing autonomy over time) Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, contracts, and revenue forecasting within CRM systems Coordinate sponsor deliverables before, during, and after events in collaboration with internal teams Prepare post-event sponsor reports demonstrating value, engagement, and ROI to support renewals Monitor market trends and benchmark sponsorship offerings against comparable international events Commercial Partnerships – Awards Programme Support development and execution of sponsorship packages for awards categories and event sponsorship opportunities Identify and engage prospective sponsors from corporate members and external industry partners Manage sponsor engagement throughout the awards cycle, including visibility, branding, and event participation Collaborate with communications teams to ensure consistent sponsor visibility across digital and event channels Contribute to annual review and improvement of the awards partnership model Other Commercial Partnerships Support development of content partnerships including research collaborations, webinars, and co-branded publications Assist in managing relationships with affiliate and content partners, ensuring contractual obligations are met Support renewal discussions and pipeline tracking for existing commercial partners Monitor income performance against targets and escalate risks or opportunities Membership Development – South-East Europe Map and analyse the private employment services landscape across priority countries in the region Identify and engage national federations or emerging associations aligned with membership criteria Build relationships with key stakeholders and attend relevant regional events where appropriate Support development of tailored onboarding materials explaining membership value and requirements Coordinate membership application processes with internal governance bodies Support onboarding and integration of new members into committees, networks, and initiatives Membership Development – South-East Asia Identify and qualify prospective national federation members across priority markets Research regulatory and industry environments to assess membership value propositions and barriers Support targeted outreach strategies in collaboration with regional and internal stakeholders Engage with existing members as ambassadors to support expansion efforts Contribute to development of capacity-building offerings for emerging federations Membership Development – Africa Support engagement with prospective national federations across priority African markets Leverage regional partnerships and networks to identify membership opportunities Contribute to development of region-specific membership value propositions Support participation in regional forums and stakeholder engagements Engage with labour mobility and migration-focused organisations where relevant Track progress against membership targets and provide regular reporting Cross-Cutting Responsibilities Maintain accurate CRM records, pipelines, and membership databases Prepare regular reports on commercial and membership performance for leadership review Support delivery of flagship events in relation to partnerships and membership engagement Collaborate with internal teams across communications, policy, research, and events Ensure alignment of all activities with broader organisational strategy and positioning

Requirements 1–3 years’ experience in business development, partnerships, membership, sales, or similar roles Experience managing pipelines, tracking prospects, or supporting revenue-generating activities Strong communication skills with ability to produce clear and persuasive written materials in English Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities Ability to work across international time zones and cultural contexts Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working with limited supervision Team-oriented mindset and willingness to contribute beyond defined responsibilities Desirable Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot Exposure to sponsorship, events, or commercial partnerships Experience within associations, federations, NGOs, or membership-based organizations Interest in international labor markets, policy, or workforce development Familiarity with digital tools and AI-enabled productivity systems Core Competencies Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills Commercial mindset with ability to support sales and partnership development Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple international workstreams simultaneously High level of organization and self-management Cultural awareness and ability to work across global regions Team-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach Ability to work independently in a lean, fast-paced environment
