The team

The Digital Applications team is responsible for developing, supporting and improving digital applications and integration services that will provide the best user experience for our stakeholder groups, with the aim of making ASIC a 'best in class' regulator supporting the Australian financial markets. Our team values open communication, continuous learning, and collaborative problem-solving, working closely with stakeholders across ASIC to deliver impactful digital solutions.

The role

ASIC is seeking an experienced Mid - Senior Boomi Developer to deliver and support business‑critical integrations and APIs on the Boomi platform, partnering with stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, reliable, fit‑for‑purpose solutions for a major program.

As a Mid-Senior level Boomi Developer your responsibilities will include:

Provide systems analysis and technical input to planning, integration requirements, and design Develop, test, and deploy integration services and definitions Drive continuous improvement of services, environments, and processes Maintain integration design docs and interface specs (data mapping, formats, transformations) Ensure adherence to development, privacy, and security standards Maintain technical documentation, best practices, and guidelines Support operations: health checks, incidents, releases, and change management Coach and transfer knowledge to junior staff Troubleshoot performance and integration issues

About You

In order to be considered for the role, you will have the following skills and experience:

Relevant tertiary qualification (IT, engineering or similar) desirable 3+ years developing integration solutions (Boomi or similar platforms) 5+ years with web services/APIs (REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, XSLT) API design experience (e.g. SwaggerHub) Experience with ReadyAPI testing Exposure to AWS API Gateway and cloud (AWS/Azure) desirable Working knowledge of Agile and tools (e.g. TFS, Git, Jira) Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Self‑sufficient and accountable for outcomes
