About the Role – Property Manager & Facilities Manager This role combines tenant and landlord relationship management with full responsibility for building maintenance, service delivery, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solution-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced real estate environment. You will work closely with internal teams and external service providers to ensure properties are well-managed, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities Property Management Functions Oversee the day-to-day management and administration of residential properties. Manage tenant onboarding, lease administration, renewals, and exit processes. Handle tenant and landlord enquiries professionally and efficiently. Support rent collection processes, reconciliations, and preparation of management reports. Maintain accurate property records, tenant files, and lease documentation. Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with agreed standards. Facilities Management Functions Oversee all property maintenance and ensure buildings are kept in excellent operational condition. Coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security, and general works. Manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring quality, cost control, and timely delivery. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory requirements across all properties. Respond to and resolve facilities-related issues promptly and effectively. Maintain maintenance schedules, service records, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field (preferred). Previous experience in property management or facilities management. Strong organisational and administrative skills with close attention to detail. Good communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in basic reporting and office systems. Proactive, reliable, and able to work well within a team. Must be based in Nairobi.
