Our approach to care is guided by our core principles of Quality, Access, Impact and Relevance.​Job Purpose The volunteer project manager will coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the RCT comparing digital and paper-based PROMs in the orthopedic outpatient clinic, ensuring timelines, compliance, communication, and smooth workflow between investigators, staff, and volunteers. Key responsibilities: Project Coordination Oversee day-to-day management of the RCT comparing digital vs. paper-based PROMs in the orthopedic outpatient clinic. Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met. Schedule and coordinate meetings between investigators, clinic staff, and research assistants. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate records of study progress, including recruitment logs and data collection status. Support ethical compliance by liaising with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and ensuring documentation is up to date. Communication & Reporting Act as the main point of contact between the volunteer team, clinic staff, and lead investigators. Provide regular progress updates to the principal investigators. Prepare interim reports and assist with drafting final study summaries. Data Management Support Oversee secure handling of data Coordinate with data entry staff to ensure accuracy and completeness. Flag discrepancies or issues in data collection for resolution. Training & Supervision Orient volunteers and research assistants on study procedures. Monitor adherence to study protocols and provide guidance when needed. Problem-Solving & Logistics Identify and troubleshoot operational challenges (e.g., scheduling conflicts, technical issues with digital PROMs). Ensure smooth workflow in the outpatient clinic during study activities. Qualifications, Experience and Skills required: At least a higher education degree or diploma Experience with RCT preferably management but not a MUST Background in health sciences, research, or any related field preferred. Familiarity with digital tools and basic data management. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to communicate clearly with medical staff and volunteers.
