CENEC Cameroon, or the Center for Community Enhancement, is a development organization based in Buea, Cameroon. Its primary objective is to promote sustainable development and biodiversity conservation in communities. CENEC focuses on educating and supporting both genders to build resilient and sustainable communities, addressing challenges such as poverty, inequality, and environmental issues like desertification and plastic pollution. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead planning, implementation, and monitoring of CENEC's programs in Kenya Build partnerships with local CSOs, government, and communities Manage project reports, M&E data, and ensure accountability Represent CENEC at meetings and with stakeholders Support proposal development and fundraising efforts Ensure activities align with CENEC's mission and safeguarding policies SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Public Health, Environmental Science, or related field Previous experience in program coordination/ management in the NGO sector Strong project management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills Experience in WASH, environment, or community development preferred Self-starter, adaptable, and based in Kenya Gain hands-on leadership experience managing programs in a growing NGO Expand your professional network across Cameroon, Kenya, and partner CSOs Receive a certificate of service and recommendation letter upon completion Opportunities for training, mentorship, and exposure to international conferences Direct impact on communities and water/environment projects on the ground
