World Bank Delegation Visits Msea To Review Implementation Progress Of The Kenya Jobs And Economic Transformation Kjet Project

MSEA Director General Mr. Henry Rithaa received a high-level delegation from the World Bank, led by Task Team Leader Asta Bareisaite and Co-Task Team Leader Leah Kiwara, as part of an implementation support mission to review the progress of the Kenya Jobs and Economic Transformation (KJET) Project. The visit formed part of a structured engagement through which the World Bank reviews the progress of its partner projects, verifies compliance with agreed milestones, and provides technical guidance to implementing agencies. The mission affirmed the project’s continued momentum and assessed its performance against the agreed results framework. The KJET Project is a five-year initiative implemented by the Government of Kenya in partnership with the World Bank. It aims to enhance job creation, improve business performance, and market access for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) operating within collectives including associations and cooperatives, across priority value chains. MSEA, as the implementing agency for KJET’s enterprise development component, continues to deepen its engagement with MSMEs across Kenya’s 47 counties, connecting collectives to training opportunities, mentorship, common user facilities and market linkages designed to strengthen their competitiveness.
