DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Customs. Lodging of bond vouchers and making follow-ups. Physical verification and release of shipments with all the authorities. Shipping Operations. Following up with vessels ETAs and ETDs. Picking up shipping line invoices and making sure payments are made. Processing delivery orders with shipping lines. KPA & Container Freight Station. Custom clearance of goods (verification & loading). Airport Operations. Lodging files for imports and exports. Custom clearance of goods (verification & loading). Making follow ups of cargo for onward forwarding. Making sure pre alerts for all forwarding shipments are sent before the cargo reaches the consignee. After airlifting, endorsement of the entries for bond cancellation is done. Following up with airlines in requesting for manifests for entry registration. QUALIFICATIONS: EACFFPC or Diploma in C&F or maritime studies. Customs declaration. Conversant with all customs procedures. 2 years’ progressive experience in C&F work. COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: Team player. Honest. High integrity. Work with minimal supervision. Punctuality at work. Excellent communication skills.
