Your Mission As part of our growing R&D team, you will play a key role in inspiring our customers across Kenya & East Africa.  Reporting to the R&D Director, you will provide high‑end technical expertise, create outstanding finished goods, and support customers with state‑of‑the‑art bakery & patisserie solutions based on Puratos’ focus product range. You will work closely with Sales team and R&D teams to maintain existing business and develop new opportunities through exceptional technical service, demonstrations, and innovative product concepts. What you will do Inspire and support our customers by delivering technical demonstrations, trainings, workshops, events, and providing hands‑on support. Develop innovative finished goods and concepts by tracking global and local trends, creating recipes, and tailoring product solutions for customer visits. Support business development through promotion of Puratos focus products, strengthening existing partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and contributing to marketing activities. Collaborate with R&D, Sales and Marketing on new product development by providing technical insights, performing product tests, participating in launches, and preparing materials such as photos, videos and concept presentations. Maintain a professional Innovation Center environment and build networks, ensuring operational readiness, and developing strong connections with customers. Create pastry recipes in order to develop recipe databank. Support all regions in Kenya for the required works. What we expect from you 5+ years production experience in food and bakery/patisserie sector Outstanding communication and presentation skills Excellent people management skills to interact with customers, cross-functional teams and third parties Excellent organizational and time management skills Mobility required: regular travel within the country Able to evolve in an international organization Strong, self-starter, and team player Mastery of computer and tablet tools Patisserie‑related certificates are a plus.
