The Role:Country Manager This position is based in Kenya with periods working from home and frequent travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead sales efforts in Kenyan Market, including identifying, qualifying, and acquiring new customers while maintaining long-term relationships with existing overseas clients, such as distributors, channels, large-scale projects, developers, EPC contractors, and wholesalers. Conduct regular customer visits and collaborate with clients to develop business and product strategies for growth. Coordinate all technical activities related to customer and project success by leveraging in-depth product/system knowledge and applying it to customer solutions. Analyze solar PV market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to develop and implement responsive strategies, identifying opportunities for product improvement and market expansion. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility and build relationships with potential clients and partners. Drive continuous improvement within the sales organization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement channel policies for partners, mediate conflicts, and ensure policy enforcement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in solar product sales within the PV industry. Business development expertise with strong negotiation skills, excellent customer relationship management, and adaptability to highly volatile and demanding markets. Professional working proficiency in English. Proven sales experience in international markets and a global mindset for multicultural environments. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Team player with a proactive, driven, and results-oriented attitude.
