KEDA Ceramics is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Driver to join our team. The Warehouse Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, load, unload, and store materials within the warehouse and production areas. The role ensures proper handling of goods, adherence to safety procedures, and support of warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Obtain production schedules or shipping orders and transport materials, products, or equipment to and from designated locations within the facility. Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and other vehicles using a forklift. Move goods packed on pallets or in crates throughout the warehouse and storage areas. Stack and arrange goods in the correct storage locations according to inventory control procedures and warehouse standards. Inspect and ensure all loads are properly secured before transportation. Collect and stack empty pallets in designated storage areas. Conduct daily forklift inspections and basic maintenance checks, including monitoring lubricants, tires, air conditioning, battery/fuel levels, and other essential components. Report equipment defects, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with company policies and safety regulations. Assist with stock movement, inventory counts, and other warehouse activities as required. Perform any other duties assigned by management or leadership. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum KCSE Certificate or equivalent. Valid Forklift Operator Certificate/License. At least 1–2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment. Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory handling procedures. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
