Senior Salesforce Business Analyst / Salesforce Health Cloud Consultant (Contract)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Business Analyst / Salesforce Health Cloud Consultant to lead and deliver a healthcare-focused Salesforce initiative. This is a remote contract opportunity for a highly independent professional who can take ownership of requirements gathering, solution design coordination, documentation, and cross-system integration planning.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in Salesforce Health Cloud, healthcare workflows, API integrations, Agile delivery, and stakeholder communication. This role requires someone who can work directly with operational and technical teams while driving projects from discovery through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Salesforce-based healthcare solutions
• Translate healthcare workflows into user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and technical documentation
• Design and document Salesforce enhancements, automation processes, and workflow improvements
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle
• Define and document integration requirements between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and web services
• Support Agile/Scrum delivery processes including sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT coordination, and release documentation
• Create wireframes, data mappings, workflow diagrams, and process documentation
• Troubleshoot Salesforce functionality and integration-related issues
• Ensure solutions align with healthcare compliance and data privacy standards including HIPAA
• Provide recommendations for platform optimization, scalability, and process improvements

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working with Salesforce platforms
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud
• Experience in healthcare, digital health, insurance, or patient-care related environments
• Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, objects, workflows, and integrations
• Experience working with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and third-party integrations
• Strong SQL and SOQL knowledge
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency with Jira and/or Azure DevOps
• Strong documentation, process mapping, and wireframing skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience coordinating independently with offshore or distributed teams is a plus

• Salesforce certifications
• Scrum Master or Agile certifications
• Experience with healthcare compliance standards and patient data workflows
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations
