Mass Tort & Product Liability Associate
Location: Multiple Offices
A national law firm is seeking a 4th–5th year Associate to join its Mass Tort & Product Liability practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated litigation matters involving mass torts, product liability disputes and other complex claims as part of a collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate will have broad litigation experience, strong writing abilities and an interest in developing a practice focused on high-exposure product liability and mass tort matters.
Key Responsibilities
Support the defence of mass tort and product liability matters through all phases of litigation Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other substantive legal filings Conduct legal research and analyse complex litigation issues Assist with discovery strategy and case management responsibilities Collaborate with colleagues on sophisticated, multi-party litigation matters Communicate effectively with clients and litigation teams to develop practical solutions Contribute to trial preparation and other pre-trial activities
Who You Are
4th–5th year associate General litigation experience required Exposure to mass tort and product liability litigation preferred Insurance defence experience is a plus Construction litigation experience is a plus Excellent academic credentials Strong writing and analytical skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Demonstrated commitment to client service Florida Bar admission preferred
Compensation
Salary Range: $155,000 – $200,000 (depending on location and experience)
