Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is a State Corporation established through the Science and Technology (Amendment) Act of 1979, which has since been amended to Science, Technology and Innovation Act 2013. The 1979 Act established KEMRI as a National body responsible for carrying out health research in Kenya.Key Responsibilities: Day-to-day office administrative and operational activities Filing, organization, archiving, and retrieval of study documents and administrative records Preparation, photocopying, printing, scanning, and distribution of study materials and documents Scheduling of meetings, trainings, field activities, and appointments Preparation of meeting materials, attendance lists, and meeting minutes Maintenance of office records, inventory logs, and administrative trackers Coordination of office supplies, stationery, and other administrative consumables Vacancy Requirements: Must have graduated with Bachelor’s Degree training in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Procurement, Project Management, Office Administration, or related field Mandatory Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Mandatory Basic understanding of office administration and records management Mandatory Willingness to learn and work within a research environment Mandatory Good organizational and record management skills Mandatory Strong attention to detail and accuracy Mandatory Good communication and interpersonal skills Mandatory Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Mandatory Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams Mandatory Willingness to learn and take guidance Mandatory Good time management and ability to meet deadlines Mandatory Be a Kenyan youth below 30 years of age.
