** Key Responsibilities **
• System Installation: Expertly install piping systems, fixtures, water-related equipment, pumps, and control panels to design specifications.
• System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing water systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Structural Fabrication: Perform installations for water storage tanks and all related support structure fabrications.
• Water Heating & Distribution: Handle comprehensive water heater installations, repairs, and the design/management of complex water distribution networks for residential and commercial sites.
• Irrigation & Drip Systems: Execute professional irrigation system installations, including the setup of advanced drip irrigation structures.
• Dam Lining: Execute professional dam lining installations to ensure water retention, structural integrity, and long-term leak prevention.
• Swimming Pool Connections: Perform specialized plumbing connections for swimming pools, including pump and filtration system integration.
• Pipe Fusion & Joinery: Utilize specialized techniques, including PPR fusion, HDPE welding, and solvent welding to ensure leak-proof, high-pressure piping.
• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct scheduled servicing of pumps and filtration units to identify potential failures before they occur.
• System Diagnostics: Troubleshoot plumbing issues in both residential and borehole/water project settings.
• On-Site Coordination: Work closely with our engineering team to ensure project specifications are met according to design requirements
.• Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets local standards and safety regulations, focusing on leak-free installations and durable connections.
• Documentation & Asset Care: Keep simple, accurate records of materials used and progress made on assigned sites; maintain and secure company tools and equipment.
• Safety, Cleanliness & Professionalism: Adhere to on-site safety protocols, keep work sites clean/restored, and maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients.
• Versatility: Handle all other plumbing and water-related tasks as required by project needs, including emergency call-outs.
**Qualifications & Requirements **
• Education: A minimum of a Diploma or Craft Certificate in Plumbing from a recognized technical training institution.
• Experience: Proven experience in plumbing, specifically with borehole systems, pressure pumps, and general water reticulation.
• Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow installation manuals accurately.
• Problem-Solving: A practical approach to troubleshooting on-site and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel to various project sites across the country as required.
• Certification: Relevant Trade Test certificates in Plumbing or a related field are preferred.
