REPORTS TO-Directly: MANAGING DIRECTOR

**                         Indirectly: EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN**

**               Administratively: Human Resource Manager.**

JOB PURPOSE

The role seeks to ensure required outlets coverage is achieved, products distributed into focused outlets and out of stock is reduced to the bearer minimum and also achieve the volume target of the company in a way that supports the NSV and Trading profit of the company. Performs any other related duty as directed by management.

 

INDICATORS OF GOOD PERFORMANCE OF THE JOB

·        Ability to spend time in field coaching team and meeting customers/consumers to gain insights.

·        Ability to influence and inspire people for performance.

·        Timely preparation and submission of daily, and monthly   reports as required.

·        Strict execution adherence of the laid down sales procedure.

·        Self-drive.

·        Punctuality.

     

KEY DUTIES

·        Plan and implement sales and marketing strategy.

·        Growing sales and maintaining sales to avoid drop of the same.

·         Ensure a realistic sales targeting regime.

·        Ensure proper and fare split of the monthly targets and monitoring them on daily basis.

·        Setting targets for the sales team by 5th of every month and evaluation of the same by 5th of the following month.

·        Coach, motivate and discipline sales team.

·        Plan and manage sales and marketing resources according to agreed targets.

·        Ensure availability of all KBL/UDV brands/SKUs in trade.

·        Check all loads out of all salesmen daily.

·        No deliberate non load out of a stock that is in the warehouse, either slow or fast selling.

·        Advice the management of any ways that will grow the sales depending on the market challenges e.g. promotions.

·        Influence and inspire team for performance.

·        Route accompaniments a minimum of 15 accompaniments per month.

·        Ensure that the calls are done in the proper by all the sales team and all customer are issued with ERT receipts.

·        Ensure that there is no over punch and under punches by the sales team which results from failure to follow the right selling procedure.

·        Ensure no credit sales to the customers.

·        Come up with sales strategy to improve sales.

·        Prepare and present the KBL presentations on behalf of the company.

·        Liaise with the management for all trade related issues.

 

KNOWLEDGE /SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

·        Graduate caliber with 3-5 years’ commercial experience gained across sales/consumer marketing with a good track record of performance.

·        Good communication skill-written and verbal, Good interpersonal skill essential.

·        Healthy and physically fit.

·        A good driver with valid driving license.

·        Must be computer literate and able to analyze data.

·        Ability to read, update and, maintain various software applications.

·        Ability to understand, follow and confer written and oral instructions.
