Job Description - Part-Time Lecturer**

• Successful applicants will be expected to support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students.

Requirements for Appointment****

• To qualify for appointment to the Bomet University Service, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.

• Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.

• Evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.

• Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification

• certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE)/National Qualification Authority (NQA).

• All interested candidates must submit two (2) hard copies of their application, comprising the following:

• A formal application letter specifying the applicant's area of specialization, academic qualifications, work experience, and current place of employment.

• A detailed Curriculum Vitae clearly outlining personal details, academic and professional background, teaching experience, and any other relevant information.

• Academic, professional certificates and Transcripts.

• Letters of appointment showing evidence of university-level teaching experience.

• National ID or passport.

• Testimonials and other supporting documents.

• A certificate of recognition for foreign degrees (where applicable).
