As key members of our food service team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the high standards of our establishment. Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are communicated to the kitchen staff Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner Answer questions about menu items, making recommendations when appropriate Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase revenue Maintain knowledge of wine pairings and cocktail ingredients to provide informed recommendations Ensure tables are set up correctly and maintained throughout service Process payments accurately and efficiently Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service operations Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist in side work duties such as restocking supplies and cleaning dining areas Handle customer concerns or complaints with patience and professionalism Assist in training new team members on service procedures and restaurant policies Participate in pre-shift meetings to stay informed about menu changes, special events, or VIP guests Ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations and responsible drinking practices Qualifications Strong communication skills with fluency in English Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanor Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Team player with a positive attitude Attention to detail in food presentation and table settings Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred Diploma or degree in Hotel Management Food handling certification preferred Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
