Vihiga County whose headquarters is in Mbale is Located in the Western Region of Kenya. It boarders Nandi to the East, Kisumu County to the South, Siaya County to the West and KAKAMEGA County to the North. It is one of the four Counties in the former Western Province. Vihiga County has five Constituencies; Luanda, Emuhaya, Hamisi, Sabatia and Vihiga. The County’s population stands at 612,000. QUALIFICATIONS In accordance with Section 11(2) of the Vihiga County Youth Service Act, 2022, an applicant must: Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010; Hold at least a C- (Minus) grade in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent;.H Have proven experience in youth leadership for at least two (2) years; Not be an official of any political party registered in Kenya; Be a resident of the respective sub-county being represented; and Be a youth as defined under Article 260 of the Constitution of Kenya.
