KEY REQUIREMENTS Education & Training: Diploma - Business Management or other relevant field. Experience: 5 Years' experience with dogs management, 3 years supervisory role in dog handling environment Knowledge: Knowledge of product portfolio, Security industry knowledge, Technological solutions, Market knowledge, Computer proficiency, Customer support, Team building, Training: Dog Handlers Training Course, Dog Training Skills: K9 Management /Explosives detection and handling / Narcotics management/ Business elements/ leadership skills/ ICT proficiency / Certified security professional / Relevant Government Liaison - KDF, NPS K9, Prison service, KRA, KWS, etc /R & D / Emerging and arising issue awareness / etc. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To align the section to the company strategy including envisioned future, purpose, objectives and core values To execute the organization's objectives through the BSC Provide leadership and management of the Company K9 section To implement the Security Operations Management systems including developing, evaluating and executing the K9 section policies, processes, and procedures including the standard operating procedures for operations Execute other relevant company policies and procedures within the section- Healthy and Safety, Grievance handling, inclusivity and diversity, Whistleblowing, Performance Management, Credit control, procurement policy and procedures, fleet management policy, etc. Draft and control the K9 section annual budget (revenue and cost) Perform any other lawful duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time Support business growth through outright sales and product diversification. Ensure efficient and effective allocated resources utilization. Compile and submit monthly reports as required from time to time.
