Trans Nzoia County Water & Sanitation Company Ltd (formerly known as Trans Nzoia County Water and Sewerage Company Ltd) was incorporated on 2nd July, 2020 under Companies Act, 2015. The company started its operations on 1st July 2024, following declustering of Nzoia Water Services Company Limited. The company is fully owned by the County Government of Trans Nzoia. The company is licensed by Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB) as the sole water and sanitation services provider in TransNzoia County.Job Description Duties and Responsibilities Formulation and implementation of strategic measures to improve billing efficiency, revenue collection and debt management. Enhancing efficient customer management; Ensuring company brand and visibility; Ensuring proper stakeholder engagement programs; Developing strategies to optimize the operations of the metering sections; Developing and implementing strategies for reducing commercial NRW. Developing and implementing strategies for increasing the company revenues base. Ensuring that strategies that enhance speedy and efficient collection of revenue due to the company are developed. Monitoring implementation of strategies to increase revenue growth and guiding on the implementation on the same. Following up on major government institutions debts; Engaging strategic public and private partners through writing and presenting proposals for viable commercial projects. Ensuring prompt resolution of customer complaints; Formulating and implementing communication strategy; Formulating and implementing a customer care strategy; Coordinating and organizing protocol functions and other events of the Company; Facilitating the development and dissemination of Information, Education, Communication (IEC) materials; Ensuring effective implementation of CSR activities; Coordinating implementation of Pro-poor initiatives. Person Specifications For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: Master’s degree in business administration, Mass Communication, Marketing, Public Relations or its equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Mass Communication, Marketing, Public Relations or its equivalent. At least twelve (12) years of experience, five (5) of which should have been in a managerial role; Certificate of Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized Institution. Membership to a professional body where applicable and in good standing.
