United States International University - Africa is located in the Kasarani area, off Thika Road in the suburb of Kenya’s capital city of Nairobi. Job Summary: The successful candidates will be reporting to the Dean School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences; the incumbent will be expected to teach Pathology courses. Key Responsibilities Teach and assess Pathology and Pathophysiology courses to undergraduate students in Bachelor of Pharmacy and related health science programs. Introduce and mark practical and laboratory reports for assigned courses that have practical component Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time. Support and mentor students in their career endeavors. Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure that the programs and the teaching content are up-to-date and marketable; Participate in program assessment and reviews; Minimum Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience A Master’s degree in Pathology, Human Pathology, Biomedical Science, or a closely related discipline from a recognized/accredited university. A PhD or MMed in Pathology or a closely related discipline from a recognized/accredited university will be an added advantage. Registration with the relevant professional or regulatory body, where applicable, will be an added advantage. Should have at least three (3) years of university teaching experience; demonstrated ability to teach Pathology and Pathophysiology to students from diverse disciplines, including pharmacy, nursing, and other health sciences, will be an added advantage.
