Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology is situated in Juja, 36 kilometres North East of Nairobi, along Nairobi-Thika Highway. It was started in 1981 as a Middle Level College (Jomo Kenyatta College of Agriculture and Technology (JKCAT)) by the Government of Kenya with the generous assistance from the Japanese Government. Plans for the establishment of JKCAT started in 1977JKU/ADM/PHY/S.TECH-I/6/2026 (1 POSITION) All applicants Must possess: Master’s degree or equivalent in the relevant area or equivalent from a recognized institution Bachelor’s degree in Physics/Control & Instrumentation/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Control Engineering/ Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution at least three (3) years’ relevant working experience in grade 10 or equivalent position KCSE/EACE/KCE academic certificate Registration with the relevant professional body where required OR Must possess Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a Higher National Diploma in in the relevant area from a recognized institution At least five (5) years’ experience in Grade 10 or equivalent position KCSE/EACE/KCE academic certificate  Registered with the relevant professional body where required
