e-commerce solution revolutionizing car ownership in sub-Saharan Africa. We started with an automotive marketplace, leveraging technology and robust offline operations to reduce pain points in the market for locally-used vehicles, delivering quality, convenience, and value to our customers. Trade Marketing Manager Key Responsibilities Specifically, the Trade Marketing Manager at Peach can expect to lead/own the following elements: Customer generation: Own the journey from first contact in the field to a completed sale or purchase, with accountability for monthly targets on quality leads and cars transacted. Results-driven activations: Plan and run targeted activations, roadshows, and on-ground campaigns, choosing locations and events based on the quality of customers they produce, not crowd size. Stop what does not deliver; double down on what does. Brand Ambassador team: Recruit, train, deploy, and manage the Brand Ambassador team. Own their targets and incentive structure, and keep improving both based on results. Partnerships: Build and manage partnerships that put us in front of serious buyers and sellers: car yards, corporates, SACCOs, financing partners, and fleet operators. Budget ownership: Own the field marketing budget. Know what it costs to bring in each customer and each sale, and make sure the numbers stack up against our other marketing channels. Reporting: Report weekly and monthly on performance against targets, and use those numbers to shift spend and effort quickly to what is working. Teamwork: Work closely with the sales team so every customer generated in the field is followed up well, and with the wider marketing team on joint campaigns. Qualifications & Experience Must-Have Qualifications 4–6 years' experience in trade marketing, field marketing, or sales-driven marketing, with at least 2 years managing field teams, agents, or Brand Ambassadors. A clear track record of hitting sales or customer targets, and comfort being measured on them. Strong with numbers: able to work out what a customer costs to acquire, spot what is working and what is not, and act on it. Experience designing and running incentive or commission structures for field teams. A hands-on operator: comfortable on the ground at activations, markets, and car yards, not just behind a desk. Experience in automotive, financial services, FMCG, or other industries where customers take time and trust to convert is a strong plus. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Nice-to-Have Qualification Experience in automotive, financial services, FMCG, or other industries where customers take time and trust to convert is a strong plus. What Success Looks Like Hitting monthly targets for quality customers generated through field activity, on both the buying and selling sides. Cars bought and sold that can be traced back to your team's work on the ground. A strong rate of field conversations turning into real customers and completed deals. Cost per customer and cost per sale that compares well against our other marketing channels. A motivated, high-performing Brand Ambassador team that consistently hits its targets.
