Kenya Commercial Bank Limited is registered as a non-operating holding company which started operations as a licensed banking institution with effect from January 1, 2016. The holding company oversees KCB Kenya - incorporated with effect from January 1, 2016 - and all KCB's regional units in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia and South Sudan. It also owns KCB Insurance Agency, KCB Capital, KCB Foundation and all associate companies. The holding company was set up to among other things to enhance the Group's capacity to access unrestricted capital and also enable investment in new ventures outside banking regulations, achieve operational and strategic autonomy for the Group's operating entities and enhance corporate governance across the Group and oversight in management of subsidiaries.Main Duties & Responsibilities Source New Business, expand and retain existing client relationships with a focus on global custody business, to increase market share and profitability. Ensure financial and business growth targets assigned are achieved. Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and identification of repeat and new business opportunities. Responsible for managing designated portfolio of clients through continuous reviews and identification of client needs. Provide service to customers about account information, and queries raised. Facilitate problem resolution with specialized units. Contract review and negotiation with current and potential clients. Source and prepare tenders / presentations for potential business opportunities. Ensures all client KYC/AML documentation is up to date. Identify and manage the risks associated with global custody services business. Provide a service focused, knowledgeable and experienced point of contact for new and existing clients. Attend Client meetings, Annual General Meetings, new business pitches and make presentations as appropriate. Work closely with the Client investment committees and Fund secretaries to bolster good working relationship. Ensure that all Custody Reports are submitted to clients as per SLA timelines. Responsibility for resolution of audit matters for custody services clients. Ensure billing and collection of revenue for custody services rendered Maintain high level integrity and ethical standards – Uphold highest levels of integrity and ethical standards. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE University Degree from a recognized institution. Capital Markets Program Certification (CISI) at least Level 1 Trustee Development Program Certification (TDPK) Seven (7) years’ banking experience in the Financial/banking sector. 3 years working in bank operations. 5 years in Relationship Management in local/global Custody Services. 5 years stakeholder management skills. 3 years in Business Tender processing end to end. Excellent problem-solving. Excellent emotional intelligence skills Strong persuasion, management, and communication skills Strong organizational skills Creative approach, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop innovative solutions
