The Kenya National Farmers’ Federation (KENAFF) is a non-political, non-profit making and democratic member-based umbrella organization of all farmers in Kenya. It represents the interests of about 2 million farm families as the legitimate farmers’ voice with the objective of articulating issues affecting them through focused lobby and advocacy, targeted capacity building and promotion of sector stakeholders’ cohesiveness in dispensing and progressive uptake of agricultural innovations for enhanced socio-economic status of the farmers. Formed in 1946 as a Farmers’ Union representing exclusively the rights of the large scale white farmers, the organization has undergone institutional and structural transformations over time to better its services and accommodate the small scale farmers.Key Responsibilities Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading communication materials (press releases, articles, newsletters, reports). Support the management and content creation for KENAFF's social media platforms and website. Help document and capture project activities through photography, videos, and written content. Assist in designing promotional and awareness materials (posters, flyers, banners). Maintain an organized archive of communication materials and media assets. Support the Communications team with other departmental activities as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Diploma or Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies or a related field is encouraged. Good written and verbal communication skills. Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is an added advantage. Familiarity with social media management is desirable. Creative, proactive, and able to work both independently and within a team. Basic computer skills.
