Kisumu County is located in Nyanza and constitutes 7 constituencies (Kisumu East, Kisumu West, Kisumu Central,Seme, Nyando, Muhoroni and Nyakach). Mission To transform the livelihood of the people of Kisumu county on a foundation of integrity through accountable, efficient and effective leadership that invokes participation and pursuit of quality services, for a prosperous county that is a harbor of excellence  Requirements for appointment For appointment to this position a candidate must: Be a citizen of Kenya; Have served and proven experience in administration or management either in Public or private sector for a minimum period of three (3) years; Hold a Bachelors Degree from a University recognized in Kenya; Hold a post graduate qualification in Public Administration, Management, Economics, Urban Planning/Development, Sociology or its equivalent qualification; Be a member of a relevant professional association or body and in good standing; Be in possession of Leadership Course lasting not less than six (6) weeks or its equivalent from a recognized institution; Demonstrate managerial, leadership and professional competence in work performance and results; and Satisfy the requirements of Chapter (6) of the Constitution of Kenya
