Key Responsibilities

Ensuring that all activities and operations within Lubes warehouse are in line with Company directives and company rules. Providing daily, decade and monthly information on lubes position as well as supervising & ensuring warehouse documents are accurately maintained and up to date- stock cards, picking list filing. Ensuring daily stocks reporting timelines as required, stock cards timely and accurately updated and daily spot check. Managing lubes warehouse equipment by promptly reporting any defects and accurately maintain records of periodic maintenance checks on forklifts and any other equipment. Ensure efficient use of forklifts to maximize productivity and minimize maintenance breakdowns. Truck loadings and offloading to be done in time and efficient manner. Strictly ensuring Stocks movement to be accompanied with proper and approved SAP documentation. Customer loading fairly scheduled on first come first served basis or as communicated by dispatch/depot accountant/depot manager  Coordinating NCPs returns to appointed disposal agents to ensure minimal stockage of NCPs at the warehouse. Actively coordinating decade/monthly/quarterly stock take exercise as per requirement. Ensuring proper housekeeping, warehouse, and yard arrangement to maximize space utilization. Championing toolbox meeting for both staff and 3rd party drivers.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in a technical/business field At least 2 years’ experience in warehousing or depot operations and good knowledge of petroleum products and stock management. Supply and Logistics skills is an added advantage Good team player and analytical skills Integrity and compliance mindset.

 

Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities HSSEQ

Participating in training of Contractors on HSSEQ issues e.g. Work Site Safety Training to improve safety. Ensuring all company installations are done within the group, company and statutory standards Facilitating implementation and maintenance of certifications like ISSSRS and improvements resulting from Internal Audits, EDOC, TRA and SafetyTours Audits.

PROJECTS

 Carrying out initial designs, preparing scope/specifications, tender documents and ensuring timely implementation of allocated projects within the agreed scope, time and budget. Overseeing implementation of projects as per the procedures in place and to achieve the stated objectives.  Assisting in continuous value engineering to improve the value derived from both Projects and Maintenance programs.

MAINTENANCE

Supporting implementation of Preventive, Corrective and Predictive maintenance for all facilities and equipment. Checking that the maintenance programs in place meet company requirements through review of key Performance Indicators KPIs of the various maintenance schedules. Ensuring continuous improvement of maintenance of equipment and facilities

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Civil /Mechanical /Electrical Engineering  At least five (5) years’ experience in project management and design on engineering processes Knowledge of Technical & HSE Standards for Petroleum Sites Good analytical and supervisory skills  High level of integrity and ability to work within strict deadlines

 

Account Manager – Business Development (Mombasa)

The ideal candidate is a commercially driven insurance professional with strong corporate sales, networking, negotiation, and account management skills, and a proven ability to achieve business targets. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

Business Development & Acquisition: Identify new markets and corporate prospects, develop sales pipelines, convert business opportunities, and achieve agreed revenue and premium targets. Portfolio Growth: Promote tailored general insurance solutions, identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, and grow the corporate client portfolio. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, manage accounts, drive renewals and retention, and ensure excellent service delivery. Sales & Account Management: Manage sales pipelines, prepare proposals and quotations, negotiate deals, maintain accurate client records, and monitor sales performance. Premium Collection & Compliance: Follow up on premium payments, support timely collections, prepare business reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable insurance regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field. Professional insurance qualification (IIK or CII) is an added advantage. 8 years of proven experience in corporate insurance sales, business development, or account management. Demonstrated track record in new business acquisition, portfolio growth, and achieving sales targets. Experience managing corporate clients, renewals, premium collection, and sales reporting. Strong understanding of general insurance products and client risk needs.

Receptionist

ROLE PURPOSE The Receptionist is responsible for delivering professional and efficient front-office services at the Bank’s Head Office. The role serves as the primary point of contact for visitors, customers, and stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer experience, effective visitor management, professional communication, and compliance with the Bank’s security, confidentiality, and operational procedures. The position contributes to the Bank’s corporate image and service excellence through a welcoming, responsive, and well-managed reception environment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES    Front Office & Customer Service

Attend to customer enquiries and direct customers to the appropriate department or officer. Welcome and receive customers, visitors, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner. Provide accurate general information about the Bank’s services and procedures within the limits of the role. Manage the reception area and ensure it is clean, organized, and professional at all times. Monitor customer flow and assist in managing queues during busy periods. Handle customer complaints or concerns at reception and escalate them to the appropriate officer where necessary. Receive and manage all visitors and guests at the reception and handle all their needs professionally prior to the meeting. Promote a positive customer experience through professional appearance, courtesy, responsiveness, and timely assistance. Identify customers who may require priority assistance and direct them appropriately. Support the Bank’s service-quality standards and customer experience initiatives. Maintain a professional image consistent with the Bank’s brand and values.

  Telephone & Communication Management

Receive and appropriately direct incoming telephone calls. Take and relay messages accurately and promptly. Respond to general enquiries received through the reception desk. Maintain professional telephone etiquette and communication standards.

Visitor Management & Security

Register and manage visitors in accordance with the Bank’s access and security procedures. Issue visitor passes where applicable and ensure visitors are directed to authorized areas only. Notify relevant staff when visitors arrive. Maintain accurate visitor records. Report suspicious activities, unauthorized access, or security concerns immediately. Support the Bank’s physical security and access-control requirements.

Administrative Support

Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, courier deliveries, and documents. Maintain reception registers and other administrative records. Coordinate meeting room bookings and assist with visitor arrangements. Support the preparation of meeting rooms and reception facilities when required. Assist with general administrative duties assigned by the supervisor. Maintain an up-to-date directory of departments, key contacts, and extensions.

Confidentiality & Compliance

Maintain strict confidentiality of customer, employee, and Bank information accessed through the reception function. Comply with the Bank’s policies, procedures, code of conduct, and operational controls. Observe applicable banking, data protection, information security, and workplace safety requirements. Ensure sensitive documents received at reception is handled securely and delivered only to authorized recipients.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Front Office Operations, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Customer Service, or a related field. At least 2 years’ experience in reception, customer service, front-office administration, preferably within a bank or financial institution. Good knowledge of office administration and customer service practices. Experience in handling customers and visitors in a professional environment is desirable. Additional training in customer service, office administration, or telephone etiquette will be an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic office systems
