🚀 The Opportunity This is not a job. This is a true co-founder opportunity. We are looking for an entrepreneurial operator who will lead the operational and commercial engine of the business from day one — owning supply chain, manufacturing coordination, warehousing, logistics, retail distribution, and execution across the market. The founding CEO leads product vision, strategy, fundraising, and brand direction. You will lead the systems, partnerships, and execution that ensure the business scales efficiently and sustainably. You will receive meaningful equity in Zoki Group and help build one of East Africa’s next major consumer brands.
🔑 What You Will Own Operations & Supply Chain You will manage end-to-end operations including co-packing, manufacturing coordination, warehousing, inventory planning, logistics, procurement, and quality control. You will oversee relationships with manufacturing partners such as Burton & Bamber (Sweet Tunda), ensuring production efficiency, strong quality standards, pricing optimization, and reliable product availability. Sales & Trade Distribution You will build and manage our route-to-market strategy across supermarkets, wholesalers, minimarts, pharmacies, schools, and modern trade channels. You understand retail execution, distributor relationships, trade margins, and how to successfully scale a fast-moving consumer brand across Kenya and East Africa. Financial & Operational Management You will help build the operational and financial foundation of the company, including inventory planning, working capital management, margin optimization, and financial forecasting. You are comfortable owning and defending a 3-year operating model and making commercially disciplined decisions in a startup environment.
✅ What We’re Looking For — 5+ years of experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, consumer goods, logistics, supply chain, operations, or commercial management — Experience managing suppliers, co-packers, warehousing, retail distribution, or manufacturing operations — Strong understanding of COGS, margins, working capital, inventory cycles, and operational finance — Experience selling into Kenyan retail, wholesale, or modern trade channels — A strong professional network across East Africa within FMCG, logistics, retail, or food manufacturing ecosystems — Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment — Full-time commitment — Zoki Group becomes your primary focus from day one
