WordPress Developer Work from Office: Riverside, Nairobi Australian Aligned Working Hours (1:00 AM - 10:00 AM)

We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer to take ownership of a growing network of websites designed to support a large-scale digital ecosystem. This role involves building and managing a portfolio of 46 WordPress websites, with the goal of creating a cohesive, high-performing digital platform that improves visibility, supports local stakeholders, and enhances access for global audiences.

Key Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and optimise a network of 46 WordPress websites Develop and customise WordPress themes and plugins to meet varying regional and content requirements Implement multilingual and localisation functionality across platforms Ensure all websites are fast, secure, mobile-responsive, and SEO-optimised Collaborate with designers, content teams, and external partners Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure consistent website performance Support the development of scalable systems and processes for managing a large website network Continuously improve usability, performance, and overall site architecture Requirements Strong experience in WordPress development (themes, plugins, and custom development) Solid front-end development skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) Proficiency in PHP and database management Experience with page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or WPBakery Understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools Bonus: Experience with WordPress Multisite or managing large-scale website networks
